Industry Promotion and Development Foundation of Sagamihara (IPDFS) was established in August，1992, for the purpose of contributing to vitalization of industries in the region by carrying out the various activities described below in response to the ongoing globalization of economy driven by information technology and the rapid development of technological innovations.

(1): To hold fairs for promotion of industries in the region.
(2): To hold lecture meetings on improvement of corporate management and for promotion of industries and technologies in the region.
(3): To collect and disseminate information on industry and economy in and out of the region
